There is water on Moon
The suspicion that molecular water is present on the moon has been confirmed.
NASA test
Earlier research has found signs of hydration on the lunar surface, especially around the South Pole. The U.S. space agency, NASA, has therefore studied the Moon at a wavelength of 6 micrometers with the SOFIA Observatory, a converted Boeing 747 aircraft flying in the upper part of the Earth's atmosphere and equipped with a nearly 3-meter telescope. His binoculars study the celestial bodies in the Solar System and more distant objects in infrared. The wavelength of 6 micrometers made it possible to clearly identify the spectral signal of the water molecule.
The discovery will certainly have an impact on the U.S. human space mission scheduled for 2024.
Water symbolizes emotions
Water as a symbol is closely connected to the Moon. Moon is the dominant planet of Cancer sign belonging to the water element, which is associated with the subconscious and emotions. It is very interesting that it was in the lunar year that the presence of molecular water on the surface of Moon was confirmed.
40,000 km2 of lunar surface is capable of storing water
Also on the basis of SOFIA data, we managed to map the so-called distribution of cold traps. These smaller and larger areas are cold enough to keep volatile substances (such as water) frozen for up to billions of years. Lunar cold traps can be found on both poles, their range is varied, the smallest are only 1 centimeter in diameter. The results show that the number of smaller cold traps significantly exceeds that of larger ones.
